Monitored by photometer to ensure correct alkalinity,Ph and chemical levels
Swim Sessions
Dogs are accompanied in the pool and buoyancy jackets and aqua toys are used to encourage free and natural swimming, this maximises the benefits of the therapy and limits the stress and fear that can be experienced if artificial swimming methods are used (attached to a hoist).
Swimming times are dependent on injury, condition and fitness and will initially be short with rest periods. Your dog will be able to swim for longer as his condition and fitness improve.

The above programmes are tailored to individual requirements, condition and fitness.
All programmes start with an initial session of about an hour with subsequent sessions taking around 30 minutes. Your first appointment takes longer because we need to discuss individual requirements and allow your dog to become familiar with the surroundings.
